THE ASIAN GAMES

The first Asian Games wes held in New Dehli, India in 1951. Since the .954 Asian Games in Manilla, The games have been held every four years. About 36 Asian countries, including Indonesia, participate in the games. The fourth Asian Games was held in Jakarta in 1962. The Asian Games are held two years before and after the Olympic Games.
Before the Asian Games began in 1951, these was the Far Eastern Games. The first Far Eastern Games were held in Manila in 1913. These has been a long hirtory of international games in Asia.
